A seemingly average building located on the corner of Podmaniczky and Vörösmarty Streets hides one of the most interesting stories of the 20th Century in Budapest. It was originally built as the joint centre of Hungarian freemasons, but the many changes in political systems in Hungary had a strong affect not only on the movement, but the building as well.
